SBE "HF" HAMnet and Internet Repeater Linking Project, SBE's Chapter 73, "Chapter of the Air"

HAMnet, SBE’s “Chapter of the Air,” was developed more than 20 years ago for those HAM operators-members who are not in close proximity to a local SBE chapter. It gives members a monthly chance to get caught up on up-to-date SBE information and discuss technical broadcast topics.

A new addition to the "Chapter of the Air" now provides an additional opportunity for members to participate. The Internet Repeater Linking Project, or IRLP.  The SBE IRLP HAMnet is based in Denver using the WA2YZT UHF/VHF repeater system, IRLP node #3286, on the first and third Saturdays of each month at 11:00 am, U.S. Mountain Time. 

The "HF" HAMnet takes place on the second Sunday of every month at 0000 GMT. Hal Hostetler, WA7BGX, serves as Net Control. The published frequency is 14.205 MHz. Occasionally, that frequency is busy and you may need to move up (no more than 10 kHz) to find the SBE meeting.
