EAS is topic of August 19 free SBE Webinar (July 26, 2010)

The SBE will present a free webinar on the Emergency Alert System (EAS), titled, "The 'New' EAS: What Every Broadcaster Needs to Know", on Thursday, August 19 at 2:00 pm EDT. The program will provide an update on EAS and the move to CAP v1.2, including information on what we know, what we don't know, and what broadcasters can do to prepare.

Ralph Beaver, CBT, chairman of the SBE EAS Committee and a member of the SBE national Board, will conduct the program. Though the webinar is free, registration is required, register here.
