Professional Recognition

SBE Certificaiton - SBE Certification has become recognized in the industry as the primary method of verifying the attainment of educational standards.

Chapter and Individual Awards Program - The annual Awards Program recognizes those who have contributed to SBE, the industry or their chapters in a number of categories. Winners are presented their awards at the annual Awards Dinner at the annual SBE National Meeting.

SBE Fellowship - SBE Fellow is the highest membership designation the Society can bestow on a member. These members are recognized for having rendered conspicuous service or having made valuable contributions to the advancement of broadcast engineering or its allied professions. Fellows are elected by the SBE Board of Directors.

SBE Lifetime Achievement Award - The SBE Lifetime Achievement Award was established to recognize and pay tribute to individuals for their dedication, lifelong achievement and outstanding contribution to broadcast engineering. It is the most distinguished recognition the Society can bestow on a member or non-member.
